Goleta Medical Office Building (Goleta, CA)

For the Cottage Health Medical Office Building project in Goleta, we provided comprehensive architectural sheet metal services, delivering a visually cohesive and highly durable exterior system.

We custom-fabricated and installed Aluminum Band Cladding using .063 aluminum finished with a high-performance three-coat metallic paint system. This feature extends throughout the building’s façade and includes a custom segmented radius band at the west elevation—precision-formed to meet architectural curvature requirements. All band joints were meticulously detailed with backing plates and butt joints to ensure both structural integrity and clean visual lines.

Above the banding, we installed corrugated wall panels in a horizontal orientation, adding depth and texture to the building envelope. The system includes 22-gauge C-2 steel panels in a Kynar 500 Medium Bronze finish, mounted over a 7/8” hat channel support system to provide ventilation and structural alignment.

Additional sheet metal scope included:

·       Storefront sill pans, plaster base flashings, reglets, and various other custom weatherproofing flashings

·       Coping caps installed at all parapet walls, including:

o   22-gauge prefinished steel coping at panel-clad areas

o   22-gauge galvanized coping at plaster-finished areas
