Requirements
2-3 Years of experience in the field preferably.
High School Diploma or GED Certification
Understand and follow simple instructions and directions
Works well with others
Good Work Ethics
U.S Citizenship
Read Tape Measure
Basic math
Reliable transportation to job sites (Ventura County)
Cutting, Bending & Shaping Metal – Use tools such as shears, brakes, and rollers to manipulate sheet metal into required forms.
Measuring & Layout – Accurately measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly.
Fastening & Welding – Use rivets, screws, welding, or adhesives to join metal pieces securely.
Installing & Securing Components – Fit and attach sheet metal products in buildings, HVAC systems, or custom projects.
Sealing & Weatherproofing – Ensure installations are airtight, watertight, and meet insulation or energy efficiency requirements.
Working Safely – Follow OSHA regulations and use proper PPE while handling sharp materials and heavy equipment.
Problem-Solving & Adjustments – Modify installations on-site when necessary to fit design specifications or accommodate unforeseen challenges.
